Migration Queensland Invitation Round for 2023

Migration Queensland initiated its state nomination skilled migration program on September 5, 2023. Given the reduced allocation of 1550 skilled nominations and no BIIP allocation from the Department of Home Affairs for this financial year, the competition for Queensland’s state nominated program will be fierce. Migration Queensland will commence sending invitations to selected applicants at the end of September 2023, with invitation rounds held at the close of each subsequent month throughout the 2023-24 financial year. The monthly invitation count will be capped to maintain a consistent and equitable rate of invitations throughout the program year. Given this intense competition, it is advisable to explore alternative migration avenues.

If you are interested in applying for Queensland nomination, please carefully review the eligibility criteria of both the Department of Home Affairs and Migration Queensland. If you meet all the necessary criteria and intend to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), you must create a completely new EOI in SkillSelect. Migration Queensland will only consider EOIs submitted on or after September 5, 2023, and updated EOIs will not be taken into account.
